20130891I wanted to share with you all where I live 10 out of 24 hours. My little 12′ x 12′ home business office. It’s not very big but it is cozy and comfy.
Note to self: I love my life. I am sitting in my little office with all my favorite “stuff” around me, looking out at my pet chipmunks, grey squirrels, my single red squirrel, gold finches, mourning doves, chickadees and whoever else shows up. I’m sipping my coffee with the dog on my desk, kitty at my feet. Working my job at home and writing my blog while watching the TV in here is heaven. I have food in the house, my ol’ reliable Subaru (which I can’t part with), family that loves me, a warm bed, clothes in my closet, a hubby of 34 years, a kick A _ _ sewing machine, and many more “things” than a person should ever need. When I start to feel sorry for myself I think of how blessed I actually am and feel embarrassed that I felt that way. Reality check, Laurie. You are living like a Queen compared to some poor, unfortunate people. So stop you’re whining and be happy.

Another day I’ll take photos of my sewing room.
