At peak tourist season here where the water gives us lovely beaches and wonderful restaurants us natives frequent The Maine Diner for a home-cooked tasting breakfast. Tourists tend to prefer lunch and dinner when they start offering it again. The place is too small and service is slow. There’s nothing fancy about it at all so don’t fret about what you’re wearing. Your meal will arrive on just the plain white chunky plates you expect from a diner. But your food will taste like you’re eating at Mom’s house. For that reason I gave it 3 ♡♡♡’s out of 10
